Gina Leckron

With nearly 30 years in construction, government relations, and nonprofit management, Gina Leckron has spent the past 15 of them serving as the State Director for Habitat for Humanity of Indiana and supporting the efforts of 42 local Habitat affiliates.
After earning her bachelor’s degree, Gina received a Certificate of Nonprofit Management from Duke University, and earned her Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential. Gina has served in Habitat for Humanity’s ministry for almost twenty seven years as an executive director in both rural and urban affiliates across the country. She understands the critical role housing plays in economic and community development.
At her current position, Gina works closely with state government to advocate for housing issues and resources and provides training and technical assistance to affiliates in the field. In the course of her career, Gina has managed large-scale development ventures, disaster recovery projects, and has raised over $50M. She has served in leadership positions with Habitat for Humanity International as Chair of the State Organization Alliance and a member of the US policy and mortgage regulatory committees.
Gina loves the outdoors, gardening and woodworking, and she lives in rural Indiana with her husband, Jeff and her son, Carter.
