Maggie Wimberly

Maggie Wimberly embarked on her journey in the accounting field after graduating with honors from Manchester College in 2008. Over the past 15 years, she has dedicated her focus to the nonprofit sector, driven by her passion for making a meaningful impact.
Since 2015, Maggie has played a role in Habitat for Humanity, leading the Wabash County, Indiana affiliate. Her leadership was instrumental in advancing the organization's mission of providing safe and affordable housing to families in need.
In 2016, Maggie's dedication to service led her to join the Board of Directors for the Indiana Statewide Organization (SSO). In 2020, she left the SSO Board of Directors and assumed the role of Accountant, coinciding with the launch of the Association Health Plan.
Wimberly believes Habitat for Humanity's business model serves as a example of sustainability within the nonprofit industry. While she may not excel at wielding a hammer, her expertise in accounting allows her to contribute significantly to the organization's financial stability and efficiency.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Maggie finds joy in her family life with her husband, Ware, and their two daughters, Amira and Rebecca, residing at the top of the hill in Wabash, Indiana. In her leisure time, she indulges her passions for literature, culinary exploration, and creative pursuits.
