IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy: Women in Fundraising (Tuesday, August 27th from 8am to 5pm EDT)
Women are changing the face of philanthropy! This course, designed through a collaboration of The Fund Raising School and Women’s Philanthropy Institute at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, will provide key insights into women’s philanthropy and women’s giving, allowing your organization to be successful in engaging women as donors. Think beyond Women Build - think how women can be transformational to your giving program.
Homeowner Services: What's in a Name? (Tuesday, August 27th from 8am to 5pm EDT)
This will be a crucial overview of Homeowner Services. It will follow case studies from application through to home dedication. Learn how to apply fair housing laws to each part of the process and make each partner family a successful homeowner. This course will also cover setting up and balancing escrow accounts to ensure proper funding. This isn't one you want any homeowner services staff to miss!

Summer is better when Habitat affiliates putt together! Habitat IN/KY is rounding up our group during the conference for tech-infused mini golf, chef-driven drinks & dishes for every diet, and tons of story-worthy Habitat moments. Join us on the evening of Aug. 27th after the Pre-Conference at the Putt Shack! SCORE!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel hosting the conference is the Holiday Inn Louisville East. The hotel has a large, free surface parking lot, to make event parking very simple.
The room block for attendees at the Holiday Inn Louisville East is SOLD OUT!

CONFERENCE SCHEDULE:
We are asking each attendee to select the classes they're most likely to attend at registration. Every email confirmation will have the breakout sessions you select. If you'd like a printed out version at conference, you are responsible for printing out the email! Attendees are not bound to their choices at registration, but it does help the presenters plan for their classes.

While we have made every effort to finalize the schedule by the time registration opens, classes can still move slightly so if you are planning on buying a one day ticket, we suggest waiting until closer to conference as the price of those tickets will not change. You can only register one person at a time in order to get accurate class selection!
Feel free to attend the classes that are most interesting to you! You do not necessarily have to stick with the same track (e.g. Leadership, Operations, etc.) throughout the entire conference. Please let us know if you have any questions!
SCHOLARSHIPS FROM HFHI:
If you are a RURAL OR SMALL affiliate, Habitat International's Capacity Build program is offering training scholarships to help cover the cost of registration, travel, and lodging. They can award up to $1000/person and up to 6 people/affiliate. This is a great opportunity to come to conference totally free (after reimbursement).

INDIANA & KENTUCKY RCDI AFFILIATES:
Affiliates who are part of the Rural and Community Development Initiative (RCDI) can be eligible to have some or all of their expenses (mileage, parking, hotel rooms) reimbursed. You can either email Iris Dooling or Mary Sheerer for more information about how and when to redeem the reimbursement.
